Not So Smart

I dont know what problems LG has with their televisions but I have owned now four of them and they are supposedly smart TVs but they all seem to have the same problems. They cannot stay connected to any echo device and Alexa has continuous problems with them. Not only the Alexa apps having problems with LG smart TVs but also the LG Thin Q apps are not able to work with the LG TVs. Another problem is that the TV keeps going from HDMI 1 to TV at least twice a day. I use my TV as a computer monitor and I find this quite annoying. Another severe problem with the LG TVs is that they have apps that are not really needed and take up valuable storage space and good apps like Spectrum is not available for installation. It seems to me that LG has gone out of its way to help other TV manufacturers boost their sales since they dont ignore their customers.

Honored repair outside of warranty period

My tv had a nice clear picture but after 10 months it started having vertical lines going down the middle and the lines got broader and darker as time went on. So far Ive had to deal with customer service for over 3 months. So unless you purchase the buyer protection from the place of purchase youll be making a lot of calls to customer service.

I have had this tv for less than a year. A month or so ago I notice a green stripe down the middle of the screen that has slowly widened. I filed a warranty claim with LG but they cannot find a service rep in our area to fix it so now I have to fix it myself with their help over the phone

Good TV for the price

Weve had our TV for 9 months and are happy with the image quality and value for a 70 screen. However we had image quality issues that required warranty service after 4 or 5 months of use. Luckily LG covered this under their 1 year factory warranty. It was easy to setup a repair we only had to wait about 2 weeks for parts. Hopefully we get more than a few months out of the repair they replaced the entire display panel plus a circuit board inside

Good tv until....

I bought my tv in May of 2021 and the display stopped working on Dec. 8th of 2021. As of today the TV has not been repaired under the manufactures warranty. The lack of customer service is frustrating and I will never purchase another LG product.

I bought this TV in February of 2021 and I lived it at the beginning. Then all of a sudden I started noticing a red line and green when I would turn on the TV. To the point I made a claim through LG and it was approved in December of this year. So far all Ive got ten is emails from the LG... and the TV repaired saying they have my parts for TV just waiting on a date.... Ive called the TV provider repair and they havent called me back or anything. Now Im without a TV for Christmas and New Years too and its getting worse.

I bought this tv 6 months ago and it was great at first. After about 3 months we notice in the bottom right screen a little box that was causing some blur of the picture. Now about 3 weeks after that initial discovery its starting to do that in the middle of the screen. Im super disappointed because this was a gift for my husband and quite a big project for me to get a tv of this size from Best Buy to home all alone and set it up. I put in a service request to LG over a month ago and NEVER heard a single word from them. The TV was good at first but I would not recommend buying this on the chance that you have these issues. I suppose its possible I just have a defective model and if thats the caseLG should stand behind it. Its sad that no one could get back to me.

My wife received this television as a reward for 25 years of service at Honda of America. Well the video didnt look that good from the beginning.now its horrible during dark scenes red blooming appears in the upper right corner. Since theres no receipt there is no warranty.

I bought 50 lg and it was a decent buy so I upgraded and bought 70 6 months ago and 3-4 months into having I started seeing lines in the pic and color bleeding/running as well. The picture quality was just ok and the sound quality was just ok. I didnt think I would have to get it fixed a couple months after having it.

Good servive but issue not resolved

I bought this TV couple of months back and the smart TV was operating without any issues but suddenly stopped working. I tried working with cable provider mesh router support and concluded the issue is with the TV. To eliminate doubts I reset and change the wifi and reconnect every single device at home around 20 but the TV. Technician after his inspection concluded that issue is with the router and problem is not resolved.
