It worked normally for 4 months of occasional use then it started to shut off by itself and now it doesnt work at all. I contacted customer service to obtain service under my warranty and was told that a service tech would respond soon but unfortunately theyre having difficulty in finding a tech. I wish they would just replace the TV. Its obviously defective.

LG Channels are taken from a preselected list of programs. Im given only one network choice for news in my tow. If want to watch my fav news channel I have to go thru YouTube and pay a monthly fee for YouTube or non LG app options. THEN to have to buy separately a remote that takes verbal commandscutting thru the morass of finding channels is outrageous. Ill probably return my 50 TV and buy a less convoluted entertainment option.

I purchased this TV about 4 weeks ago and I am very satisfied overall. Using Wi-Fi to get my content no problems with set up and getting the apps to work properly. There are more features to learn about have been impressed with the variety available on LG Channels. My only issue is using the remote due to tin buttons and no voice activated assistant.

Had some set up issues

I bought this TV a week ago and just got it set up. The first software update apparently didnt update properly making the TV unable to load certain apps YouTube TV for example. I spent a lot of time trying to sort it out with online help but never found an answer. We had company coming for which I bought this TV so it was a letdown that they couldnt watch it in their room as intended. Once they left I reset to factory default and started over. The second time worked and I was able to download apps and configure it. It has a good picture and works well now that the software was reloaded but it was very frustrating for several days. I thought about returning it before it occurred to me to try rebooting so I remain a bit concerned that it will perform but so far it is working to the limited extent I have tried it.

Picture is good. Maneuvering through all of the extras is annoying Most likely would be the same with any new smart TV. Havent been able to coordinate the remote for the new TV with the DIRECTV remote and having to use both to get to the channels I want is very frustrating. Speaking of the remote it should light up at night so that is a major feature that is missing and it seems to have way too many buttons that are very similar looking and gets confusing.

It was a birthday present. So far its been more frustrating than it has been enjoyable. Dont get me wrong I love the AI picture and sound feature but the interface is too crowded. The remote is also very tricky to use without literally memorizing the exact location of the specific buttons needed.

Had difficulty adjusting color contrast brightness etc. Power saving mode was not producing acceptable adjustmentsso I had to disable power saving completely. Picture is now acceptable but must manually make fine tuning adjustments.

Color and clarity are very good. However I am very disappoointed in that I have had this t.v. for one year this month Feb.2024 and for the past two months the sound has been messing up. It will suddenly go down to almost nothing or it will make crackling or popping sounds and then there will be no sound. I find this very distressing for a new t.v. I sure miss the days when manufacturers put quality above their bottom line.

Drops wifi network constantly

The tv is less than 6 months old and continually drops the wifi network. Put in a repair request only to be told the router need to be hard wired to the TV. Why have a network capable tv when the you want the system to be wireless. Not pleased with the tv at all. I should not have to either restart my router or hard wire the network to getbthe tv to function as advertised.
