It has been a wonderful TV until the 11th-month mark when a string of horizontal pixels died. LG was supposed to find a repair shop but nothing came of it. I spoke with a repair guy and he said the screen needed to be replaced and it would cost more than a new TV.

This tv is broken. Costco and LG are fighting over whos responsible for year 2 of the warranty. Meanwhile my 78 year old mother has been without a tv for 2 weeks this was a Christmas present. I dont care just fix it.

The TV stopped working after a year

The screen is damaged. There is no display. It has been looked at by a technician under warranty. I am waiting to hear from LG as to what the next step is.

Poor Quality on two of the same size and model TVs

Purchased TV and when installing there was a loose part in the TV that rattled when moved. Returned the TV and obtained a replacement. Second TV worked great for about 8 months and then started having problems with reception. Screen would go back with no sound or would go black and only have sound. If we unplugged the TV it would work find for 2 hours or two days. LG had us reset everything and it worked fine for one day and again same. Upon calling LG again they could not find we had called prior so they wanted us to go through the same resets again. Upon being very insistent they did send out a repair tech who replaced the main circuit board. Worked for one day and same problems again. They again had repair tech contact us and tech said TV could not be repaired. Now waiting to hear from LG on how they will handle this warrant issue.
